Mane Event Preview Day—2009

REGISTRATION: On-line registration for Art Day begins October 9, 2009.  On-site registration for Art Day coincides with registration for Mane Event Preview Day at the Memorial Student Center.  Teachers and parents will be especially interested in the activities of Mane Event Preview Day.  (Art Day registration includes registration for Mane Event Preview Day)

WORKSHOP PLACEMENTS ARE FILLED ON A FIRST-COME BASIS.  REGISTER EARLY!

Early registration fee:  $12.00  (There is no fee for teachers and parents of participating students.)

Early registration deadline:  Noon, Wednesday, October 28, 2009 (Registration and fee due by this date.)

Late Registration fee and at the door:  $15.00  (located in the Art Department )

Registration fee includes two workshops, continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon refreshments.  Because of necessary arrangements for food and workshops we regret that we cannot refund registration fees. You may register on-line, by fax or mail:

8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
              Registration, check-in, and refreshments in the Memorial Student Center.  If you are participating in the Scholarship Competition, make sure to complete a Scholarship Registration Form for each entry - please fill out in advance.  See rules for Portfolio Competition at www.tamu-commerce.edu/art/events/ArtDay/PortfolioContest. You must bring your portfolio’s to the Art Department on the morning of this event. Art Department Website

11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
              Art Day Participants and parents can participate in one of the following:

Campus Fair: 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
             Tour the Campus Fair exhibits and booths sponsored by Texas A&M-Commerce's academic programs and social organizations.

Information Fair: 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Campus Tours: 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Adademic Informaiton Sessions: 10:00 a.m. – 10:40 a.m.

Residence Hall Tours: 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Planetarium Shows: every 15 minutes from 11:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. in the Science Building 1st floor

General Information Sessions: 12:00 p.m - 12:30 p.m.
              Honors College and Exploring Majors

General Information Sessions: 12:30 p.m - 1:00 p.m.
              Admissions, Financial Aid, and Scholarships
