Leigh Morgan

Leigh Morgan
In high school, Leigh had no ambition to go to college because she felt it just wasn't a realistic option. Even though her parents wanted her to earn a college education, money was too tight. Leigh remembers her parents taking her to college night at school and at the time saw no point to the visit. But, to her surprise, Leigh discovered she was eligible for scholarships at A&M-Commerce based solely on her grade point average and test scores.

Now a seasoned college student, Leigh is majoring in art and Spanish and gives art lessons to young children for extra money. She considers her financial awards “a god-send. Without them I would not get to go to college,” she says.
