Orientation

The Office of Orientation welcomes incoming freshman and transfer students to Texas A&M – Commerce each semester. The purpose of New Student Orientation is to provide students the opportunity to:

• Meet with and receive advising from Success Coaches
• Register for classes
• Acquire Student ID card and parking permit
• Pay tuition and fees
• Learn about services and resources available to enhance success

Orientation is an important and mandatory step in becoming a part of the A&M-Commerce family. All new students attending the main campus in Commerce are required to participate in New Student Orientation. Orientation is offered multiple times during the summer months before the start of the fall semester. For spring students, it is offered late in the fall prior to the spring semester.
