Doctor of Education Degree
Health, Kinesiology and Sports Studies

A comprehensive minor in health, kinesiology and sports studies is available through the Department of Secondary and Higher Education's Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree (major: supervision, curriculum and instruction/emphasis: higher education).  The degree program consists of a minimum of 90 graduate semester hours (over and above the research tools).  Within the program, students must take 30 semester hours of health, kinesiology and sports studies, including a minimum of 18 semester hours at A&M-Commerce.  For information, contact the graduate coordinator in the Department of Health, Kinesiology and Sports Studies or the department head of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education.
