Proposal Development - Semester long workshop to prepare a successful proposal from idea to submission - contact Dr. Deborah Porter for more information

Grant Writing - A series of workshops to identity funding opportunities, develop a proposal idea, write goals and objects, create budgets and other areas

Research Integrity and Plagiarism - This seminar will cover compliance with peer review rules, mentor/trainee responsibilities, human subjects regulations, animal welfare regulations, collaborative research practices, publication/authorship practices, data sharing/acquisition/management/ownership practices, financial management, conflict of interest, laboratory management skills, and research misconduct (fabrication, falsification, & plagiarism). One sessions for faculty & professional staff and another session for students.

Seminar Presenter will be Dr. Aliza I. Sacknovitz, Investigative Scientist, Office of Inspector General, National Science Foundation

Compliance - Best practices in the protection of human subjects and animal care & use, policies and procedures

  • Department of Health & Human Services - Online Training
  • National Institutes of Health - Online Training

Customized Training - Grant training tailored to the specific needs of a college, department or collaborative group

Workshops can also be designed for Students wanting more information on how to write proposals for fellowships or other student-center grant opportunities.
