Principal Investigator's Name: Enter name of the employee responsible for overseeing the grant, conducting the research and approving expenditures.

Grant: A grant has the principal purpose to transfer funds, property, services or anything of value to the state or local government or other recipients in order to accomplish a public purpose of support or incentive authorized by federal statute.
Agreement: A document containing all standard clauses applying to future contracts between parties.
Contract: Principal purpose is acquisition by purchase, lease or barter of property or services for the direct benefit or use of the federal government.
Subaward/Subcontract: A document written under the authority of, and consistent with the terms and conditions of an award that transfers a portion of a project to another institution or organization.
Name of Funding Agency:  Enter the name of the agency that the proposal will be submitted to for funding.

Agency's RFP/RFA

Enter the number associated with the “Request for Proposal/Request for Applications”. Usually only government agencies have RFP#.
Funding opportunity number: Enter the Funding opportunity number (not all programs have this number)
CFDA number: Enter the CFDA number (Federal Programs only)
Program Name: Enter the name of the specific program within the RFP/RFA (not all RFP’s will have program name).
