Responsible Conduct in Research & Scholarship
Texas A&M University-Commerce creates and maintains an environment that promotes research and scholarship. Integrity is essential to ensure credibility of research and scholarship. Integrity is the basis of all academic and scientific research: animal care and use, authorship, collaboration, data acquisition and maintenance, protection of human subjects, and mentoring and peer review.
To create and maintain an environment that promotes integrity in research and scholarship, all researchers associated with the A&M-Commerce, including faculty, staff, and students must adhere to ethics in research and scholarship. Texas A&M University-Commerce requires all individuals associated with the University, including faculty, staff and other persons, to adhere to superior standards in the conduct of all research and scholarship activities. This requirement is met by the successful completion of the online training module from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) website.

Required Compliance Training everyone involved in any research or grants must have this training.
