TUITION/FEE SCHEDULES AND INFORMATION
Distance Education Fee
Texas A&M University-Commerce provides instruction in both on-campus and off-campus settings. Delivery of off-campus instruction via the Internet or two-way interactive video (televised instruction) involves special delivery costs. Therefore, Texas A&M University-Commerce will assess a distance education fee beginning in the fall semester 2005.
This distance education fee will be $40 per semester credit hour (SCH) in addition to regular tuition and fees for courses delivered via the internet or by two-way interactive video (televised instruction) at an off-campus receiving site. Students enrolled in two-way interactive video (televised instruction) courses at the Commerce site will not be assessed the distance education fee.
Students registering exclusively for courses via the Internet will not be required to pay the Student Center Fee or the Recreational Sports Fee. The chart below shows the net effect of these fees for students who are enrolled only for Internet classes in the Fall or Spring semester:
