Satisfactory Academic ProgressTo process a file for federal student aid, the financial aid office must determine that the student is making satisfactory academic progress. In short, this entails the student keeping his/her GPA at the required level and completing the necessary hours to coincide with enrollment. Satisfactory Academic Progress here at A&M-Commerce is checked frequently with GPA's being checked every semester and hour completion being checked at least once a year. Students who are found to be not making SAP will be notified by our office and will be given instructions on how to proceed. If a student is found to be making satisfactory academic progress, their file will be processed accordingly.
