| James Vornberg, professor of educational administration, joined the TAMU-Commerce faculty in 1974. His interests include the principalship, educational facilities planning and management, international education, staff development, and general administration. He is the director of the TAMU-Commerce Principals' Center. His M.Ed.and Ph.D. are from the University of Arizona. He has professional education experience in Missouri, Texas, Arizona, and Brazil and is editor of Texas Public School Organization and Administration: 2006, now in its 10th edition (as of January 2006). He is coauthor with Edward Seifert of a text on the principalship entitled The New School Leader for the 21st Century: The Principal published by Scarecrow Education in the Fall of 2002.
