David Stanfield, Assistant Professor of Educational Administration, joined the TAMU-Commerce faculty in August 2003. His professional interests include the superintendency, principalship, leadership, and strategic planning. He earned his B.S., M.Ed., and Ed.D. from Texas A & M University - Commerce. Dr. Stanfield served as a superintendent and assistant superintendant in Plainfield, Illinois before returning to Texas. He has served as superintendent, assistant superintendent, high school principal, middle school principal, and elementary school principal in texas public school districts.
