B.B.A. - Major in Finance:

This program exposes students to many areas of finance.  Advanced courses are taken in Financial Management, Investments, Financial Planning, Derivatives, Financial Markets and Institutions, Economics, and Financial Accounting.  Students majoring in Finance are encouraged to pursue the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.

B.S. - Major in Economics:

This program provides in depth exposure to many areas of economics and requires 15 hours of economics courses.  It is ideally paired with a second major from outside the CBT, such as Agricultural Sciences, Journalism, Pre-Law, or Political Sciences to name a few.  In essence, students have 85 hours of required courses and 39 hours of “flexibility.”

BBA – Major in Accounting:

This program provides students with the ability to achieve competency in internal control systems, managerial accounting, income tax accounting, financial accounting, and not-for-profit accounting. This program does not prepare students to sit for the CPA examination.

BPA – Bachelor in Professional Accountancy:

Students majoring in professional accountancy will achieve competencies in the undergraduate common body of knowledge of business and the core competencies in accounting. Additionally, the will achieve competencies in auditing, advanced financial control, advanced income tax accounting, and other special topics. This program does prepare students to sit for the CPA examination. This program may also be completed with the same number of hours inconjunction with graduate courses and earn an MBA with a minor in Accounting (See Graduate Programs for more information.)
