Notices concerning *deaths will be reported to
the Dean of Students Office for appropriate action by the Courtesy
Committee.
Department heads, departmental representatives,
or anyone wishing to report information of this nature should
contact the Dean of Students Office at 886-5084.
Suitable remembrances will be addressed as follows:
a. Students who are currently enrolled in the
University at the time of death.
b. All categories of employees: Faculty, Administration,
Professional Staff,
and Staff (classified and nonclassified) and their immediate households.
Also, member’s father, mother, brother or sister.
c. Mothers-in-law or Fathers-in-law of Faculty,
Administration, Professional
Staff and Staff.
d. Members of the Board of Regents.
e. Retired Faculty, Administration, Professional
Staff, and Staff.
A donation in lieu of flowers (appropriate remembrance)
will not exceed $25.00.
The total cost of flowers will vary; the current
average is $30.55, including delivery expenses.
Courtesy Committee funds will be collected in
the Dean of Students Office, 2nd floor, Halladay Student Services
Building.
*Flowers will not be provided in cases of illness.
*Flowers will not be provided for grandparents
or grandchildren.
