Telephone Service


If Your Telephone is Not Working...

Before reporting a station out of service, make these routine checks:

  • Be sure that all cords are properly plugged into the set and wall jack.
  • Clear call-forwarding by the lifting handset and dialing "#1".
  • Check the ringer adjustment to be sure that the set will ring.
  • Report any problem by stating the telephone number, department, building, room number.

Adding, Moving, or Changing Telephone Hardware

All requests for installations, moves, changes and removals of telephone lines must be processed by the Office of Telecommunications.

Use of State Property

The Texas A&M University-Commerce telecommunications system is the property of the State of Texas. Non-official use of this equipment is prohibited.
