Long Distance Access

LONG DISTANCE CALLS

Copy and submit an Authorization Code Request Form for each University employee whose function requires placing long distance telephone calls. The request will be processed within 6 business days of receipt by the Telecommunications Coordinator. Any individuals with job assignments requiring long distance cost allocations between multiple account numbers must submit an Authorization Code Request Form for each account.

IMPORTANT! Do not allow another individual to use your long distance authorization code! When an employee terminates, submit an Authorization Code Request Form for removal of long distance authorization.

INTERNATIONAL CALLING ACCESS

When making an international call, use the following dialing pattern: 16 + authorization code + 9 + 011 + country code + routing code + local number.

All requests for service should be directed to the Office of Telecommunications at 903-468-6000.
