Computer Hardware Maintenance

As of September 1, 1999 Technology now handles all maintenance of computer hardware and peripherals. All PC and MAC computers, printers, internal and external components are covered except for the following:

  • Hardware which is not currently the property of Texas A&M University - Commerce.
  • Devices that are covered by a maintenance contract with an outside vendor.

    In order to facilitate the repair procedure, please have the following information available when you call:

  • The make and model of your computer.
  • The property number. This will usually be found on a small sticker and start with 751-.
  • Your building, room number and telephone.
  • A description of the problem.
     

    All requests for service should be directed to the Office of Telecommunications at 903-468-6000.
