Job Seekers
The most
important rule for career success is simple: take advantage of every available resource.
Career Services -- in Room 104 of the Halladay Student Services Building -- has a
variety of programs, services, and resources to help you through all the steps
of the job-search process.
We've included
several of these basic resources on this web site (which you can reach through
the links on the bar to the left), but we encourage you to visit our office
for more personalized help with your career.
We pride ourselves on combining "high-tech" with
"high-touch" resources to best meet your needs!
We invite you, for example, to come browse through the library of job-search publications shelved in our
office, pick up your own personal copy of NACE's Job Choices 2008 and
AAEE's 2008 Job Search Handbook for Educators, read the current job
announcements posted, and get a copy of our most recent published vacancy
bulletins.
While many of the job-search resources and services
are available to all who wish to use them, students and alumni can also formally
register with the Career Services Office for more direct and active assistance.
For more information, click on the
Registration button at the left.
As an added service, you can find timely new articles, updated every month by the National Association of Colleges &
Employers (NACE), to help with your job search, right
here. |
