A. Course description:
Greenhouse designs, coverings, heating, cooling and watering systems.
Media, pasteurization and handling systems in connection with the growing
of greenhouse crops. Economics of production, Prerequisite:
12 semester hours of horticulture. Three semester hours (2 lecture,
2 lab).
B. Objectives:
1. To understand the role of greenhouses and climatic control
mechanisms.
2. To develop skills in greenhouse management for production
of various plant types.

Chemical plant growth regulators

D. Evaluation
Grades will be determined based upon students' performance on three hour
exams, a final exam, and participation in laboratory exercises.
