About Us

The foundation of our university is built upon lasting relationships. Strong relationships with people like you – whether you’re a graduate or former student, faculty or staff member, or friend of the university – are what make it possible for us to impact the lives of those around us every day. The role of our office is to build and make the most of these relationships.

We are composed of several departments and groups working together:

• Development (major gifts, annual fund, corporate and foundation grants)
• Advancement Services (donor stewardship, financial management)
• Texas A&M University-Commerce Foundation
• Alumni Relations
• Texas A&M University-Commerce Alumni Association

We work together to generate public and private support for the university community in a way that:

• Provides alumni and friends with opportunities for involvement
• Increases participation in the annual fund
• Builds corporate and foundation support
• Serves as a resource to match donor interests with university needs
• Partners staff, faculty and students with alumni leaders
