11.04.99.R0.05 Requirements for Second Bachelor’s Degree

Effective September 1, 1996
Supplements System Policy 11.04


1. Holders of a baccalaureate degree from this university or other accredited four-year college or university may be awarded a second baccalaureate degree upon completion of an additional 30 semester hours in residence, including 24 advanced semester hours, and all catalog requirements for the second major.

2. The Junior Level Essay Exam is not required for the second baccalaureate degree.

3. Those students whose first degree did not include the required American history and political science must complete these requirements before the second degree is conferred.
